Driven Nutrition provides high quality supplements and wellness products for an active lifestyle. Shopping a full catalog of products can be overwhelming. Here are the ones we find the most valuable to your health and wellness on a daily basis!
Nutrition is a hard thing. At HCCF, we believe in helping our athletes make easier choices when it comes to nutrition and food.
And If you’ve never taken a dive into the world of supplements before, it can be downright overwhelming at first glance.
And when the human brain gets overwhelmed, it just…checks out. If you don’t know the difference between different supplements, how can you know if you’re choosing the right ones?
There are a few basics that we recommend all of our new athletes start with.
We like to help narrow down the list to a few choices, and then let the individual (that’s you!) decide what’s the best thing(s) for you right now.
We do feel like Driven’s list of products is lengthy, and can get confusing, so we’re here to break it down to what we feel the most important things to start with are.
If we could only pick one thing to prescribe to every athlete, it would be a super-clean protein powder.
Many of the protein powders on the market are full of chemicals, sugar, and other junk that your body just doesn’t need, or want. We love Driven because they have a short, clean, ingredient list.
The most common of protein powders, whey protein is a powdered supplement using the whey protein from cows milk. Keep in mind that whey protein is NOT dairy free, so if you need a dairy free supplement, this is not for you!
Whey at Driven Nutrition is grass fed, never heated during processing, and includes a number of amino acids in it’s profile. (That’s a fancy word for building blocks your body needs to make muscles!)
Additionally, we’ve found that Driven Nutrition’s whey protein is a much finer powder than others and dissolves easily without leaving any chunky residue. Nobody likes a chunky residue, amiright?
Driven offers two versions of this: the regular Driven Nutrition Whey Protein and the Driven Nutrition Natural Whey. The difference is that the natural version does not contain any artificial sweeteners.
Because of that, it comes in a more limited flavor selection, so keep that in mind when choosing.
You can order the regular whey here and the natural whey here.
If you’re looking for a protein powder that’s dairy free, this is the option for you. This vegan protein powder carries 20g of protein per serving, is completely animal protein free, and tastes better than any other dairy free protein we’ve ever found on the market.
This vegan protein powder from Driven Nutrition is a multi-sourced protein comprised of pea protein isolate, brown rice protein, and quinoa.
This combination results in an amino acid profile nearly identical to eggs or dairy, and each scoop delivers 20 grams of non-GMO, gluten-free, certified vegan protein to support healthy metabolism and fuel muscle recovery.
Driven also adds an antioxidant support blend that can help reduce inflammation and boost your immune system.
Enjoy it by itself, add it to post-workout recovery smoothies, or add it to other recipes for an extra protein boost!

Casein protein is what is referred to as a slow-release protein powder. It is designed to feed muscles during extended periods of time without food, such as between meals and overnight. Casein is dairy based, so if you avoid dairy, this one is not for you.
Micellar Casein is a more sophisticated (and the slowest absorbing) form of Casein made from all five milk proteins.
This results in slower absorption, an even more gradual release of amino acids, and the preservation of existing muscle tissue.
We love adding this to a smoothie before bed to keep those proteins going all night long!

A unique take on a protein powder, this chicken isolate is flavorless and odorless. Made from high quality chicken, it can be added to soups, stews, casseroles, and more for an extra boost of protein in your day.
News flash: Your protein supplement doesn’t have to taste like dessert to work.
Your body needs amino acids to repair and grow muscles. Until now, protein supplementation usually meant yet another boring smoothie, shake or mug cake. If you’d like to enjoy real food, chicken isolate protein powder is for you.
This option can also help avoid the frustrating digestive upset that other forms of protein can cause.
We love adding it to casseroles like this low carb Chicken Poppyseed Casserole or this Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole.

After protein, the next thing we want to look at are essential vitamins and minerals to keep your body running at optimal levels.
It’s easy to get carried away in the world of “vitamins,” so here are the basic essentials that are applicable to most athletes.
Omega-3’s are fatty acids found in things like fish and flaxseeds. The most important thing to know is that your body does NOT produce Omega-3 on its own, so you have to get it from an external source.
Unless you are eating a large amount of fish each week, it’s likely that you are deficient in this. The good news is, a single supplement can take care of it.
If you’d like to dive down more into the nitty gritty of Omega-3’s, this article can break it down in a bit more detail for you.
Otherwise, just know that Driven Nutrition has got you covered. Fish oil has also been proven to relieve joint pain, strengthen bones, reduce inflammation, and relieve fatigue.
And last but not least, some fish oils smell like…well, fish. Driven has infused their pills with a lemon extract which helps cut the odor. Their O3 supplement is the least fishy we’ve ever tasted!
