Where Everyone Is Welcome: How Holy City Fitness Makes CrossFit Inclusive For All Fitness Levels

Too many times I’ve heard people say that they would love to do CrossFit or give it a try, but they never do. What is it that holds people back?

Most of the time it’s the preconceived (but untrue) notions that you need to be able to do 100 pull ups or flip giant tires to do CrossFit.

This unrealistic picture that is created of CrossFit intimidates the average person who is in the gym for the purpose of being healthy and moving better.

We would all agree that we don’t need to be Tom Brady to throw a football around on the beach with friends, so why do people automatically look to high skill movements when thinking about CrossFit?

CrossFit is built all around functional movements and if taught properly, it is accessible to any person, with any skill set, at any time.

As CrossFit becomes more and more mainstream, people are realizing that it truly is created for everybody at any fitness level.

There is much more to the sport than muscle ups and swinging all over pull up bars.

Crossfit’s overall goal is functionality and long-term health in life.

At HCCF, we use a tool called the Level Method for our daily workouts. The level method uses level based fitness to provide an obtainable workout for every athlete in the gym.

This system provides goals, workouts, and scaled options that are all based on the individual’s fitness level.

It tests strengths and weaknesses while providing results in a clear picture. This helps our athletes to identify areas that they need to work on and provides the proper workout based off of their individual fitness level.

Workouts are not one-size-fits-all, and we recognize that at Holy City. By doing the workout that is right for YOU for the day, you are focused on your goals and moving forward.

Step by step, day by day, class by class, you’ll improve in different areas.

It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from – only that you start.
